This is how you do:
1. Start with cutting 8 equally long twines. Those will become the frame. The length of the twines is depending on the size of the pot or vase you use. For the pot on the picture we chose 80 cm long twines.
2. Tie together all twines in the bottom end.
3. Go up ca 5 cm (or more, depending on the size of the vase/pot) from the bottom knot and tie two and two together. There should be 4 knots in total in the same height.
4. Separate the twines again and tie them together with another twine next to it, so that it creates a diamond pattern. Again, there should be 4 knots in total in the same height.
5. After that, tie all ends to a knot and hang it on a hook, this makes it easier to proceed the work with it.
The frame is now finished!
A tip: A PENNY feather adds an extra detail in the bottom end.
6. Cut long twines (adapt those to the length you want the hanger to be). We wanted to have a very long one that fits our high roof, so our twines were 2 meters long. Now you only need to begin to tie.
7. Tie like this: doublefold the twine, pull it under the twine of the frame to create a loop and pull the end of the twine through it. Repeat until your frame is not visible anymore.
Your plant hanger is now finished!
