• Treat the furniture with oil before first use, again after approximately four weeks, and then 3–4 times a year. Use an oil suitable for bamboo or outdoor furniture. Lightly sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper before applying the oil.
• Carry out a thorough clean once a year using soft soap and water or a suitable cleaning product. Allow the furniture to dry thoroughly. Wipe up spills immediately to reduce the risk of staining.
• Bamboo becomes softer and more flexible when damp. Avoid using the furniture while it is wet, as this may cause it to lose its shape.
• Place the furniture on a dry surface to prevent the legs from absorbing moisture.
• Store the furniture in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place during autumn and winter.
• Avoid covering the furniture completely, as good air circulation is important.
