Close to nature and unique
In 2022 we want to see even more natural materials in our homes. We are choosing to furnish with fewer, but more carefully considered items and we’re opting for the unique and the hand-made. Capture the style using twined materials such as baskets, bowls and rattan furniture blended with linen and cotton. The colour pallet is earthy and calm.
Patchwork textiles
Soft blankets and cushions in a mix of textures create the lovely, cosy feeling we want at home. Use different layers for styling and take a fresh look at recycled textiles. Traditional patchwork is going to be huge, so why not create beautiful patterns from old leftover pieces of textile?
More brass
Shiny surfaces give extra glossiness to the day. A warm brass tone can give an entire room a lift, regardless of whether you choose furniture or decorative items. Join in the trend with a coffee table, a handsome lamp or maybe a candle-holder that can also be used as a vase.
Mouth-blown glass
Glasses and vases that beautifully reflect their content are timeless. We want that perfectly imperfect glass, created by highly skilled craftspeople. Wonderful to use every day and in all seasons, to follow the shifting patterns and light.
